Family Fun

 

Take to the water at Lake Buffalo or the Splash park and water slide on the Ovens River.  Fish, swim or kayak. Fly a kite. Visit our many special events and festivals. BBQ by the river or creek, visit the deer, berry and nut farms or try horse riding or the rail trail.  There are also plenty of bush walking and snow play options at nearby ski resorts.  Sample the wares of Billson's Brewery.  Spirits and beer tastings for the grownups and cordial tastings for the little ones.

Visit Beechworth, the old gold mining town full of historic sandstone buildings and the scene of Ned Kelly’s trial.

Visit Wandiligong the site of a Chinese Joss House, old mining village and find out about the infamous massacre.
